“Multiethnic Societies a Challenge or a Reality?” Conference (Tirana, 25-29 March, 2004)

Independent Youth Activities association, in collaboration with the British Council, SOROS Foundation and American Embassy is organizing a regional youth conference titled “Multiethnic Societies a Challenge or a Reality?”. The conference aims at bringing together young leaders from 20-35 years of age from Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece in order to stimulate intercultural communication among youth in the region as the most significant instrument for avoiding ethnic conflicts and for inspiring the culture of peace and tolerance. Full or partial travel reimbursements to attend the conference are available.
