Water Habitats World Day: Protection of the water habitats

The water habitats are homes of a large number of birds, water animals and plants. They are one of the key links in the global eco-system. At the same time, they give provide space and living conditions for a great percent of the biological diversity on our planet.

MCIC: Discussion on the Law for associations

A public discussion on the proposal-changes of the Law for civic associations and foundations will take place on 3 February 2004 at 11 o'clock, at the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation. It will be attended by representatives from several associations and experts in this field.

A series of lectures: Media and the EU integration

A series of lectures on "Facts on EU and the media role in the integration process" will take place at the "Holiday Inn" hotel in Skopje on 3 February from 10 to 5.30 p.m. Lecturers will be Tatjana Petrusevska, professor at the Faculty of Law in Skopje, Vasilis Maragos, counsellor at the European Commission Delegation in Skopje, Radmila Sekerinska, Vice Prime Minister of Macedonia and Gregor Krajc, spokesperson of the Slovenian Government. The organizer of this event is the European Commission Delegation in Skopje in cooperation with the Macedonian Institute for Media.

Promotion: Collection - Cultural (De)contamination 

 
On 3 February 2004, starting at 7 o'clock in the evening at the Museum of Macedonia, the Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia will promote the collection Cultural (De)contamination. The collection presents the theses and the discussions from the First Expert Forum on Cultural (De)contamination that took place in October last year in Skopje.
