On the occasion of its fiftieth birthday, ECF has organized a big celebration in Amsterdam, which was attended by the Dutch Princess Margareta who is also president of the foundation. On the occasion of its anniversary, ECF presented two special awards for cultural localities that accomplished big successes in the field of international cultural cooperation - "Truc Sperique" in Slovakia and "Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Centre" in Turkey.
