Ulanbator, Mongolia

International Civic Forum

On 14 and 15 May, at the capital of Mongolia, Ulanbator, the International Forum of the Civil Society took place. It is dedicated to three key issues: democracy, civil society and good governance. The Forum follows as a recommendation from the International Conference on new and renewed democracies that took place in Bucharest in 1997 and just before this year's conference that follows right after it - from 18 to 20 May this month, also in Ulanbator.

The goal is to provide systematic participation of the civil society actors in the building of democracies, peace, security, human development and good governing.
