Financing the NGOs by the state

The Macedonian Center for International Cooperation has published the book " Financing the NGOs by the state".
The publication contains answer to the questions: Do state institutions, local government and foreign embassies in Macedonia realize cooperation and do they provide financial support for the NGO activities. What kind of possibilities for financial support are there and are there any clear and transparent criteria for distribution? What is the practice upon this question in the countries from the region?

The goal of this publication is to raise the transparency of financing, thus improving the approach to equal possibilities and increasing the possibilities for mobilizing the domestic support and reducing the dependence on international sources of financing.
