“Say O.K. for MK”

The new campaign of the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation, the Forum Centre for Strategic Research and Documentation and Search for Common Ground that is going to be carried out under the slogan “Say O.K. for MK” is another opportunity for the Macedonian citizens to get involved in the process of approaching their country to the European Union. The research has shown that 91.2% of the citizens want to see Macedonia as part of the European family.

According to the campaign bearers, it takes a wider action in order to contribute to the process of accepting Macedonia in the EU, which is one of the priority interests of the citizens. This contribution should be made by promoting the positive values of the Republic of Macedonia, on individual level, directed towards the EU citizens and its institutions.

As far as the meeting of the conditions for entering the Union is concerned, 56.3% of the question presented a positive opinion. When it comes to Government activities, 50.5% think that the Government is doing much, or at least enough for the Eurointegration process, whereas 40.2 share the opinion that not much is done in that respect.

Why a campaign? Because 57.2% of the citizens want to participate in some action to support the Macedonian entry in the EU.

This civic action is an opportunity for the citizens who want to do something, for themselves, for what they said they wanted – their country to become part of the European Union.

Therefore: “Say O.K. for MK”!
