Traditional "Christian Aid week in Britain

Collecting "door to door" help

From 11 to 17 May this year, the "Christian Aid" week was marked traditionally. The week for collecting money in Britain, on the principle "door to door", started in 1957 and it helped people from Afghanistan, Angola, Sudan, Sierra Leone and other countries, regardless of their race, religion, culture or origin. This year, the events included search for local heroes throughout Britain and Ireland, so that they inspire the fight against injustice and poverty in the world.

The famous actor Kwame Kwei - Arma, star of "Casualty and Celebrity Fame Academy" took part in the activity, challenging people from Britain and Ireland to help in changing the world. He sent the message: Of course that it is impossible to wake up one day and say I can change the world, but what you can say is that I will do my share and If I do it the best I can, people will follow my example. I think that we can all change things.
