Albanian Orthodox Church Donates for the Restoration of Churches and Mosques in Kosovo

On March 26, Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and All Albania, offered $600,000 for the restoration of a church and a mosque in Kosovo, or the construction of a youth center there that will promote peaceful coexistence. This sum comes from the funds that were raised for the construction of the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana. In announcing the offer, the Archbishop called for end to blind hatred, which should be replaced by peaceful coexistence and reconciliation between all communities in Kosovo.
