Shelter Center - Refuge For Women and Children-Victims of Violence

 
"Women Economic Development Programme" 

The " Shelter Center - a refuge for women and children-victims of violence” started the realization of the first part of the project "Women Economic Development Programme".

The activities of this project will cover women - victims of violence, women with low social status, self-breeding mothers and women and girls from rural areas. The project is directed towards economic development of these vulnerable groups through providing conditions for free education and training for working with sewing machines.

This project is part of the Shelter Centre strategic programme for 2003-2007.

The "Women Economic Development Programme" is supported by the German Embassy, the Humanitarian Unit for Help, the Nurnberg Town Hall - Germany and the Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF).
