Civic Platform of Macedonia Private and civic sector have met In organization of the First Children’s Embassy of the World – Medjashi, as part of the program for work of the Civic Platform of Macedonia (2006-2007), on 19 December, in the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, a working meeting was held between the business and the civic sector. At the same time the first edition of the publications “Positive examples of the civil society in the Republic of Macedonia” was promoted. On 12 December the Center for Institutional Development within the same program organized a meeting between the business sector and the civil society organizations in order to mutually consider the opportunities and so far practices of cooperation and it was an open opportunity for exchange of experiences from the implementation of the Law on donations and sponsorships in public activities in Macedonia. New opportunities and models of partnerships between the non-governmental and business sector will be presented at the meeting, as well as experiences in solving problems through donations/sponsorships from companies to civil society organizations.
