Networking of the culture portals
Representatives from ten culture portals from former Yugoslavia have announced the continuation of their cooperation within the informal network that they are to establish after the termination of the first regional workshop that took place from 27 to 29 November in Belgrade. Organizers of this event were www.SEEcult.org from Belgrade and the Goethe Institute, with participation of an expert team of Germany. The workshop was also attended by representatives of the Slovenian portals www.artservis.org; www.evrokultura.org; www.radiostudent.si; and the Croatian portals www.culturelink.org; www.culturenet,hr; www.knjiga.hr; and www.kulturpunkt.hr, the Macedonian www.culture.in.mk; the Bosnian www.bosniaexpress.com; the Serbian www.seecult.org; and the German www.n-ost.de.
The aim of this workshop and the roundtable is the promotion and the need of culture portals to promote this new media for us, as well as to provide a platform for a comprehensive presentation of the culture and the art scene in the region, realizing the opportunities for their networking in order to make the regional culture and art known worldwide, promoting the cooperation and networking of the media with the cultural actors.
