Fight against organized crime Right according to the UN standards   On 16 December 2006, the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia (FIOOM) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia held a working session on the updated draft-material of the National Program for passing the EU right regarding Chapter 24 – Rights, freedom and security. At the meeting, they presented the new articles of the laws that are in accordance with the European legislation, the changes on institutional level, as well as the remaining duties that are to be realized on short-term basis (by the end of 2007) and on mid-term basis (2008-2010) regarding the implementation of the law for implementing the EU standards in the field of external borders, immigration and asylum.   M.I.
