Delcevo municipality Web-site on the municipality activitiesThe municipality Delcevo has a web-site through which the citizens and the broader public can get general information (number of inhabitants, location, settlement, etc), business information, get to know the municipality bodies and the current projects that are being implemented in the municipality (for example, the projects "Development of municipalities through culture", "Unequal approach equals crime"). The Delcevo municipality web-site (www.delcevo.gov.mk) is a mutual project of the Open Society Institute Foundation and the Association of Local Government Units of Macedonia.  MCIC NGO FairThe Macedonian Center for International Cooperation has published the brochure NGO Fair - Forum of the Civil Society in Macedonia", as a follow-up activity from the last NGO Fair that is traditionally organized every year. This brochure presents all activities at the NGO Fair (exhibition part, forum part, socio-cultural events), the programme, the organization, promotion, visitors and participants' statements. The last NGO Fair (that took place in October last year) was financed by EAR, MCIC, OSIMF, CRS and ISC. OHO and Remont My Parliament Civil Society Informative Center Handbook on policeThe Civil Society Informative Center has promoted the UN publication "International Standards on Human Rights for Implementation of the Law", which is a handbook on the Police. It is an adaptation of the UN High Commissary for Human Rights Office publication, in Macedonian and Albanian, intended mostly for the Republic of Macedonia Police. Its goal is to provide guidelines for the police, and is dedicated to human and legal performing of the vital functions in a democratic society. It contains important standards and procedures taken from more than 30 international sources. Faculty of Philosophy Handbook for Students at Classical StudiesThe Handbook for student at the Institute of Classical Studies within the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje is a nice (and unfortunately rare) example hoe an institution should refer to its beneficiaries. The handbook concisely explains the contents of the studies, ways of passing the exams and other rights and responsibilities of the students. There is a list of professors and associates. MCIC Financing the NGOs by the stateThe Macedonian Center for International Cooperation has published the book " Financing the NGOs by the state". The publication contains answer to the questions: Do state institutions, local government and foreign embassies in Macedonia realize cooperation and do they provide financial support for the NGO activities. What kind of possibilities for financial support are there and are there any clear and transparent criteria for distribution? What is the practice upon this question in the countries from the region?
