Statements of the visitors of 4th NGO Fair……..

Adem Sharafi, a Macedonian language teacher in the elementary school “Sait Najdeni” in Debar.

“Debar is in the furthest place to the west in Macedonia, so we appreciate the chance to come and visit this event. Today I and my colleagues have brought around 50 children form the secondary schools and the high school in Debar.
We have plenty to see on the fair, we collected a lot from the presented materials. I am familiar with the work of the civic organizations mostly through the activities of the organizations Moon which is one of the most active in Debar.”

Albana 12 years, Debar

“I liked the NGO fair a lot, I saw interesting things and also I collected a lot of materials which I intend to read at home. I haven’t been active in any of the civic organizations but I would like to try, because I think it is useful”.

Ivana 14 years, Kumanovo

“This is my first visit to this kind of fair, I came with my friend, his father had brought us. It’s not bad, I visited the stands of the organizations that deal with children, took some of the materials. I haven’t had the chance to talk to any activists from the civic organizations but I would like to volunteer in a civic organization if what they work is useful and interesting”.

Adrijana, 18 years, Skopje

“Last year I participated in the preparations for the Scout Alliance’s stand, but this year I’m just a visitor. So far I only managed to see the 3rd hall and I visited the panel: “The role of international student organizations in the process of integration in Macedonian education in European framework”. Regarding our possibilities, the fair is ok. I have some remarks but those are only individual contemplations. The idea of civic organizing is close to me and my friends. We talk about it, especially philosophy lessons make us think and talk on this subject. I think that we could take an active part into some civic organization”.
