Petition of the Croatian NGOs against the WAT

About 120 NGOs from Croatia signed a petition, complaining about the status of taxpayers of WAT. The petition was directed to the Government of Croatia and it calls for lifting the obligation for paying WAT by the unprofitable organizations and institutions. After more than three years since the decision of the previous government for tax payment relief, the new government has passed a decision for that obliges the NGO sector to pay the tax anew.  The NGO sector wants the Minister of Finance to withdraw the decision that burdens the civil society to pay WAT to the foreign donations.
