In two primary schools in Veles The campaign “We study for EU” brings EU nearer to the pupils The campaign “We study for EU” has been realized in two primary schools in Veles – “Sveti Kiril i Metodij” and Jordan Hadzi Konstantinov-Dzinot”. Our goal is to bring EU nearer to the pupils, pointed out the organizers Sonja Stojadinovic from the Secretariat for European Affairs and Konstantin Ristevski from the Ministry of Education. Through lectures, the primary school pupils have been told the history of EU, why it was created, how it is expanded and what the way to it is and why Macedonia wants to enter it. “We were surprised by pupils’ knowledge in these two schools from Veles, with the questions they asked. At the same time they gave excellent answers to all questions from the mini-quiz on EU that we had organized for them”, says Stojadinovic. This campaign will continue in the following two years in all primary and secondary schools and universities in Macedonia.   MIA
