 The first awards for sustainable development and civil society and democracy givenIn June 2001, the MCIC gave the first awards for sustainable development "Gert Jan Van Apeldoorn" and for civil society and democracy. The first MCIC laureates were Mr. Josif Tanevski (award for sustainable development and accomplishments throughout the years), Mrs. Kristina Dickinson (award for sustainable development and accomplishments in the previous year) and the First Children Embassy in the World "Medjashi" (award for civil society and democracy and accomplishments throughout the years).

ED Flora - Kriva Palanka
Ten-year anniversaryTwo years ago (in 2001), on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of its foundation, the ecological association "Flora" from Kriva Palanka published the book "A decade of rise and growth", whose publication was supported by the MCIC and which describes all their activities in the past period.
